Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.

Tamlocept-D Capsule is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Tamlocept-D Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tamlocept-D Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
How Tamlocept-D Capsule works
Tamlocept-D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Dutasteride which relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor which helps in shrinking the prostate by decreasing the level of a hormone that causes the prostate to grow.
Common Pharyngitis, Postural hypotension (low blood pressure), Back pain, Breast tenderness, Breast enlargement, Chest pain, Cough, Decreased libido, Ejaculation disorder, Headache, Infection, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Running nose, Sinus inflammation, Sleeping for unusually long periods, Weakness, Vertigo, Dizziness.
